We normally buy ours the Sunday after Tgiving, once we return home from visiting the ILs in DC. Since we are staying in town this year, maybe we will go Saturday instead

Usually a week or two before Christmas. I'm anal retentive about pine needles, and like for it to still look fresh and lively by New Years. I start decorating December 1st though.

Thanksgiving weekend is a fun time to go! We didn't get a live tree last year but the place we got them from in the past is a madhouse Thanksgiving weekend with people tagging their trees!

Usually the weekend of Thanksgiving or the week after. Living in Christmas tree country we must get a fresh tree. Sometimes we even cut it down ourselves but with a baby this year this is unlikely.

We usually go the day after Thanksgiving, but we're traveling this year and will be gone that whole weekend. We're going to get our permit tomorrow morning and I guess we'll go cut it down the first weekend in December.
