DS is 6.5 weeks old and until now, I haven't put him *down* for the night until around 9-10, depending on his last awake stretch. He will usually then sleep from 9-1 (or 10-2) and then another 3 hour stretch and then another 2 hour stretch. We do EASY all day long (Eat, Activity, Sleep, You) and I do one extra Eat before real bedtime. I try not to let him sleep longer than 2 hours after 5 p.m. though. Do others put their babies down earlier? Do babies sleep better if you put them down earlier?
My husband doesn't get home from work until 7 sometimes so I worry he wouldn't see the baby at all if we put him down earlier!
