I have noticed that each Bee has a set date in her mind of when she will test.
My first month, I tested at 8 dpo and got my BFP at 10 and lost it the day after AF was due. In response, I tested at cd 31 (couldnt confirm O) dpo last month. I am planning on testing at cd 17 this month...
What's yours?

With my first I tested early and often but the month I was pregnant only tested 12dpo (after months of disappointing early testing) and it was positive. This pregnancy the first month I just waited for AF. The second month I suspected I was pregnant so actually tested on 8dpo afternoon and thought I saw a shadow. Tested again 9dpo afternoon and got a clear positive.

I used to wait for AF as stark whites were hard but the day I got my BFP I was 13dpo. I had to test as I was on progesterone.
I know @septca: is one for early testing.

Day after expected AF (when I don't know O). When I temped I would test at 10 DPO, or when my chart looked really good (big temp spike).

When I didn't even know what I was doing, I waited till AF. The cycle with my BFP, I tested once at 10 DPO and then at 12 to re-confirm.

I've decided to start waiting until AF is supposed to come so that way I'm not waiting tests!

My first was a surprise, so no idea what DPO since I wasn't tracking or trying. For this pregnancy, I tested at 9 DPO and got a BFP.

I always planned to test after AF was due, but both times, I had a clear triphasic chart that I never had when I wasn't pregnant, so I ended up testing 11/12 DPO (2-3 days early) both times I was pregnant!

Pre-MC, I liked to test early and often. Post-MC, I tried to wait until AF was due. My BFP cycle, though, I just knew something was up, so I tested at what I thought was 11DPO. According to our first US, it was actually 13DPO, which explains why the test was so dark already!

I usually aim for the closest weekend to 12 DPO - I couldn't handle getting a BFP and then having to go to work right after, because I'm pretty sure I'd blurt it out to everyone I talked to, haha.
That usually means I end up between 10 DPO and 14 DPO.

@simplyfelicity: Yeah, it really changes the way you look at things. Mine wasn't early (so testing early wouldn't have changed anything), but it still is just different afterwards! So hoping that you get your sticky, sticky babe soon!

When I got a BFP I tested at 11dpo. When we were trying before fertility treatments I would wait until AF was late.

I usually waited to 10dpo. I didn't like the idea of waiting til my AF date because if I was having chemicals I wanted to know.
But actually the month I ended up getting my sticky BFP I waited to test until 12dpo.

9/10 times I wait for AF to show. I do have the occassional month where I'm *convinced* I'm KU and I test early. Always bums me out, though, so I try to avoid testing early!

I start at 8 DPO.
ETA: I stop after 12 DPO. After that, if it was going to show, it would have. 
@mfa_lady: and @simplyfelicity: That's interesting. My CP has made me even more committed to testing early. If I am having multiple losses, I need my doctor to know.

This cycle I tested at 12 and 13 dpo, then stopped and just pretty much started waiting for af.

Never before 11 DPO. Usually I test on 11 or 12 DPO and then my period shows up immediately after the BFN. (Or my period beats me to it and I save money on HPTs).

I start at 8 DPO but when I got my BFP it was very faint on 10 DPO and was dark on 11 DPO. I think next time I'll wait till at least 10 DPO.

If I get to 10dpo, that's when I test usually. I have a really short luteal phase, and I'm impatient. This month I was planning on 9dpo just because we are going out of town with friends, so I wanted to test before leaving, but I started spotting today (8dpo), so I probably won't bother.

I try to just wait for AF, but then I have so many of the preg tests that came with the OPKs (Wondfos) that i just test at starting at 12. Might as well use them for something!

I used to test at 11dpo, this time I waited until AF and it was sooo much better. Seeing that negative coupled with PMS hormones made a mess.

I used to test around day 10-12 but after so many negatives I decided to just wait for AF. I like knowing absolutely for sure whether I am KU or not. It's been less hard on me this way.

@simplyfelicity: evidently I'm a total liar, because I tested at 11 or 12 days post O this month. I have no idea what made me do it!!! Of course, bow I'm totally paranoid because I had a positive but AF isn't due for a couple more days so u dint even know what to think about it! I don't think I'll believe that I'm actually pregnant until after AF shows because I'm do worried it could just be chemical. I kind of wish I had waited.

@sapphire: Oh please don't worry! We know of so many ladies that test at 8dpo and go on to fullterm. Especially if your test is still positive. When I had my CP, it was a very faint positive two days before AF and negative the night before AF. It takes time. IF it makes you feel any better, I didn't wait as long as I should have. I just tested today when AF is due and got a

I always started testing at 8 DPO. I got both positives at 10DPO.
