DD is 7 weeks and her bedtime is ALL over the place. Last night it was 9:30 and tonight I have been trying since 8:00 and she's wide awake at 1:30! I don't know what to do and its slowly driving me crazy!

Around 5 months with LO1. Luckily with LO2, she was so much easier and she quickly adapted to LO1's bedtime after just a few weeks!

Around 4/5 months. Before that she was quite the night owl!! Hang in there, it'll get better!! I learned to not even try until I was sure she was tired and would go, that saved a lot of stress bc I no longer spent hours trying to make it happen.

When we moved him into his own room around 12 weeks we started a pretty strict bedtime routine (cuddle/play, diaper free time, bath, pjs, sleep sack, book - same every night - nurse then sleep), never starting it later than 7. It took a while to take, but bedtime (and consequently naps) became a lot more consistent once we became more consistent. Not sure we could have done it if he'd still been in the room with us, as he'd usually wake up when we went to bed.

Somewhere around 3-4 months. I'm a huge schedule person and he looooves sleep.

Around 5 months. When DS was a newborn, bedtime was pretty much just whenever we went to bed. Newborns sleep erratically and often, so it's probably not worth worrying about sleep times and such.

We started early, so she was on a loose schedule by 2 months. I put both DD and DS to bed at the same time.

@MrsHansen82: Thank you for asking this! As you know, we're really trying to get DD on some kind of loose "schedule," but sometimes she still fights bedtime like none other.

For DD, she adapted to DS schedule pretty early on. We put her down between 7:30-8pm most nights, and DS is in bed between 8-8:30pm. She's 5 months now and we do bath (3 nights/week), books, nurse, bed.

Around 4 months, E was consistently going to bed around 9pm. And then 5 months we were bumping it up a bit and then by 6 months, she was down to 730 or a bit earlier.....the sweet spot for us ended up being anywhere from 630-7, depending on how crazypants she was being that night.

Around 4 months she naturally shifted her bedtime earlier to around 7 pm.
