I only have 5 weeks left of work until summer vacation (I'm a teacher). LO is due September 20th so I won't be going back to school in the fall.
It's a bit surreal to think of 5 more weeks of work and then not coming back for 14 months. I thought I would be more excited but I'm actually a bit nervous that I'll miss work and/or fall behind. Maybe once I have my first (virgin!) beachside daquari the excitement will kick in

5 more weeks then 14 months off?! That's freaking awesome!!
I'm working up until d-day to save up all my maternity leave time for when DS is here so I have about 12 more weeks of work!

I don't have a set date--I am going to try and work as long as possible! But my due date is a Friday (8/16) so if she isn't here yet by then, that will be my last day before maternity leave.

I started mine when I emailed work about 10 hours into labor (started at night). Not maternity leave, but my job ends in 2 weeks and I'm getting nervous to be a sahm!

Mine starts when I go into labor, which hopefully is no more than 8 weeks away!

Mine starts Friday (5/24)! If I don't go into labor by the due date (5/22). Then if she really doesn't come, I'll take two days PTO (the next Monday and Tuesday) and we'll induce Wednesday 5/29.

I'm due on a Friday (10/4) so most likely that day, unless I go into labor earlier. If I go later, I'm going to try to work from home so I can save my leave/PTO.

I may work fewer hours the last week or two before I'm due and just use some vacation time then, but I'll still be working at least part-time up till I go into labor.
My oldest came 10 days early, and my water broke 4 hours after I got home from the office.

I have just 4 weeks to go - eek! I'm planning on ending work the Friday before my due date (June 14 is the Friday, and I'm due on June 18).

When I go into labor... LO is due July 3, so sometime around then. I will probably work from home my last week.

My proposed last day is July 26 (EDD August 8), but I'm not sure I'll be able to go that long. Its possible that I might go the Friday before!

I'm also a teacher so also only 5 more weeks of school. But LO2 is due October 4th so I'll be going back to work in September for just three weeks, which is fine by me...By the time any real marking needs to get done, I'll be out of there!
With LO1, I gave birth in the summer so I was off for 14 months and going back was tough! The transition from being a SAHM to full-time teacher was hard and it took a good 6 weeks for me to get back into the grove. But by the time Thanksgiving rolled around, it was as though I never left.

My due date is June 1, and I would love to start after this week but I'm afraid LO will be late and I will miss out on time with him. I'm going to play it by ear, but I'm ready to be done.

My due date is August 12, and my intended last day of work is July 26. I'm using some vacation time and then starting my one year mat leave to let me off about 2.5 weeks before the due date. I think that's about 8.5 weeks from today?

I finish work on June 28th so that's 6 weeks away (I think!). Im due July 31st so I should have a month or so to prepare for the baby at home - in theory. Im taking 6 months off after the baby then back to work Feb time (sob sob).

I have four more weeks of work left! My LO is due Aug 14, but I work in the schools and am done June 14, so I'll have two months to prepare for the arrival! I will be taking 7 months off once LO arrives, so 9 months altogether.

I'm a school librarian, and i have 5 weeks of school left too! We get out June 24th, and my LO is due July 19th, so hopefully she won't come early and I'll have those 3 weeks to relax and get stuff done.
I go back to work November 27th, I think. So I have 19 weeks off before I start back to work.
