M wasn't feeling great yesterday so we picked her up from daycare early. I'm thankful we did because she vomited a bunch of times that evening and overnight. We had been lucky before that - we hadn't had to pick her up (or keep her home) for some time. I remember when she was a baby, it seemed like she was home every other week with a fever.
When is the last time you had to pick up your sick kid from daycare?

Just Tuesday for DD2. They had both been under the weather all weekend and we kept them home on Monday to be safe and not get other kids sick. Turns out she had an ear infection.
DD1 probably 2 months ago? She had some kind of stomach bug and puked on her teacher like an hour after we left.

KNOCK ON FREAKING WOOD
Not since February, but that was a doozy of a month for us. He had a stomach bug followed immediately by a bad cold that triggered a bad double ear infection, which earned him what looked like pink eye (red eye that swelled shut) but wasn't (it was just a byproduct of the cold--I also got the eye thing). I call it our month of discontent (I also totaled my car that month!)

I think late September. He had never ending ear infections but got tubes the first week of October and has done great ever since!

@mediagirl: Last week they called and said he was screaming crying all afternoon saying his ear hurt. I took him to the doctor and he had a bad ear infection.

A couple of weeks ago. She fell and bit through her lip, and then while we were at the ped they found out she had an ear infection too.

Two days ago. They said she had a fever of 102, a terrible cough (we already knew that, she's had a cold for awhile), and red eyes. DH brought her home and she was completely fine (except for the cold). No fever at all. She was back the next day and has been fine, knock on wood.

It's been a lil while! He was sick a lot as an infant though. He's had some runny nose and coughs here and there, but no fever/diarrhea/vomiting!
