M is 14 months now and was 30.5" at her 1 year check up. Wondering if it's worth it now to buy a mattress for the PnP? We only use one when we visit my family and when they come visit.

I'm curious about this too and so glad you posted this because I forgot about not being able to use it soon! LO was 29.25in at her 9 month appointment and her 1 year appointment is coming up soon so I was wondering if I should look into other travel options.

We just bought them at almost a year and similar length. They still have plenty of room now, and for $35 it's worth it for their comfort...and better sleep

@BelugaBean: I'm thinking when she outgrows it we'll just travel with a mesh bed rail (do they sell travel ones) and let her sleep in bed with us or a floor mattress at my moms.
