I used to be a 36B/34C. I am currently 9 months PP (and still nursing) and only wearing nursing bras: XXL. I can barely fit into any dresses or shirts because my breasts are enormous. Will my breasts ever go back to normal, even after weaning?

I was refitted for a bra after I stopped pumping for LO. Things did get a bit smaller and my bra sizes changed from 40DD to 36DDD. So I can say things will change and may not be normal but mine went back down.

@Katrocap: your LO isn't that into solids yet right? Once mine started eating more of those my chest has definitely shrunk. I'm at almost 11 months pp.

Mine went back to normal (sizewise) after weaning. I was sad about it because I am usually a B and was a full C once things stabilized while BF (they were ginormous at first)!

Mine returned back to normal once I weaned. I went back to a 34A

I'm 12 months PP, a little more than 1 month post-weaning and they are totally back to normal and even seem smaller, but maybe that's because they were so much bigger for so long. They are also so much less dense (and perky) ; (. The best thing though is that my nipples are back to normal .

@mrs green grass: My nipples are so weird right now. I hope they get back to normal. Sorry about the lack of perkiness!
@scg00387: You're right, DS is not into solids yet (grrrr ...) This is more incentive for me to persevere with solids!
@mrsrccar: WOW! Glad your breasts shrunk a little. At this point I don't even need to fit into my old bras, I just don't want my button-down shirts to not pop open!

Mine definitely went back to normal with weaning. I don't think mine got that big pregnant though.

Mine went back down, but they were flat as pancakes after I weaned
They perked right back up as soon as I got pregnant again, so we'll see how they do the 2nd time around.
