MIL is coming for a visit at the end of this month. Got a little over a week to unpack the office and get the guest bedroom in order. She just booked the flights yesterday and I thought I had, at least, two weekends to prepare. Only have one weekend. 
Guess I'll be cleaning this Memorial day weekend.
ETA: MIL and my family lives across the country. Last time I saw the MIL was last summer.

We usually see the ILs 1x a week so they can see DS. We're going out of town next week on vaca, so we won't see them for a cpl of weeks

Friday night...I'm a tad bit bummed. DH picks up DS from day care when he's there. I always have drop off. I get out early on Friday due to the holiday, and those are usually my days to pick up. Pick up is so much more fun than drop off, but my MIL, FIL and BIL all want to experience pick up...so all 4 of them (including DH) are going to pick up LO from day care on Friday. I'm just bummed b/c it's one of my rare days that I get to pick up and they're sort of stealing it from me.

At the end of June. We're going on vacation together. Everyone is flying out of Houston so she and DH's grandmother are coming a few days early and staying at our house before we go.

This weekend! We are going to their ranch. It's also where we got married and it's also our 5 year anniversary on Friday. They are going to babysit on Saturday while we go out to celebrate.

They come from Canada every other month (or so) to visit. They were just here for 4 days over the weekend and now we will be going to see them in July.
I get the cleaning part, it's hard to get everything ready but it's so nice when it's all clean! We were out of town from Friday-Tuesday and his family arrived Thursday. We both work full time, so it was a challenge to clean and buy groceries in the 1 day we had, on top of caring for LO before and after daycare!
But we managed it. You'll manage and hopefully your MIL will get some nice bonding with LO =)

NEVER!! Ha ha, just kidding. She left this morning after 16 days. I'm free!!
She did come out to watch LO because she had HFM which I really appreciate. But 16 days was about 14 days too long IMO.

Every weekend this summer. 
It's not bad, they're nice, but MIL gets all up in my business the minute she sees LO. Am I evil because I wear my sling more so that I can use the sleepy, snuggly baby excuse for not handing her off every dang time?

we are heading out to see her on the west coast for the entire weekend... and then I will see her again in July, probably August and when LO arrives in September.

We'll spend all weekend with them at their beach house (along with BIL, SIL, 2 Neices, SIL's parents, my parents, 4 dogs and a cat) and MIL watches my LO every monday.

Hopefully not until Thanksgiving. We saw them at Christmas and haven't planned anything with them since. It's expensive, time consuming, and exhausting to visit them.
