My daughter is three, and I still call her my baby now and then! Her brother got sad that I call her baby and not him, and asked if I love her more. So now I tell him every once in a while that he's still my baby too!
Not sure when I'll stop calling her baby. I don't do it all the time - just now and then, as a pet name. Will play it by ear!

J tells me he's a big boy and I always say, "yes but you'll always be my baby". We visit my mother and she calls him baby, he says, "no mama's baby" haha

I still call my 6 yr old Baby - he doesn't mind it
But my 4 yr old gets mad and tells me "I am NOT a baby"

So, my son doesn't like to be called baby, he actually uses it as an insult, so I have to kind of watch it.
But he will always be my baby in my heart.

My 92yr old grandma still calls my 52yr old mom her baby so I don't think it will ever end

Never!! Just today I said, "my two babies!" while holding both my children's hands, and Noelle said, "I'm not a baby anymore..." and I had to retract and go, "you're my big girl now huh?" - *sniff sniff*

I don't call D baby to his face. I'm not sure when we stopped. Probably when he was 4ish and it became an insult to him.
I think I'll call M baby forever lol.

@mrbee: as for the now and again part... NEVER, otherwise it was around 1 1/2 to2 that I started using his name instead of baby or buddy.

I must be in the minority haha. I don't think I have called him baby in a very long time...it is usually "little man" or other nicknames I have for him.
