Do you ever hang up when you aren't getting anywhere with a rep? I just had the rudest cable rep and I didn't want to bother with asking for a manager. I will try my luck later!

Luckily, I haven't had that problem. I'm persistent, though...I would probably get hung up on first.

Yes! I have been known to hang up and try again later or whine to my husband until he makes the call instead. I'm incredibly impatient.

I guess in the past I've just mumbled something like, "Ok gotta go now" and then hung up. I HATE making phone calls like that, ugh. It's true though, it really depends on who you get!

Totally. This actually happened to me a lot at my past job within my own company! Basically whenever we had a complicated delivery/installation I was the one setting it up and dealing with any changes or issues that arose with it. If I had to call in to get something changed that I didn't have access to and to a rep on the line who didn't think it was possible when I knew it was or clearly had no clue, I would hang up and call right back to get someone else.
