I would like to have all my kids before 30. I got married at 21 (last year) so I'm hoping we will make our goal Plus I wanted my BA and I graduate in May so we're good on that score.

I thought I would be married by 25 with 2 kids before 30. I actually got married @ 32 and had my first kid @ 35 so I guess it would be a big no. Timing worked out well though cause I think I'm a much better parent now than I would have been in my 20's, plus my hubby was definitely worth waiting for.

My mom always said "Don't get married until you're 30" and there was the expectation that children would come after marriage. That mindset became ingrained and is exactly what happened.

Got married at 31 and now pregnant with baby #1 at 32. I'm spot on target for what I expected and I plan on spouting my mother's wisdom to my own children as they grow up!

I have to say I never thought about any of that ahead of time. I never had baby fever even though I was with DH for 11 years before TTC. Just never thought about it! Maybe that helped since we weren't thinking about it and got preggers right away. We were both 29. Now I think about #2 a lot...wondering if we will go for it or not.

I never thought about weddings or marriage or kids throughout my dating days. I honestly didn't even want to get married any time before 30. I figured I only had my 20s to myself and wanted to make the most of it. DH threw me a curve ball when he came into the picture :P. I got married at 27 and we are trying for babies at 28 (DH is 30), so I'm definitely ahead of my planned timeline!

I'm creeping on 34 now, been married for one year and pregnant w/#1.

Honestly, I love how my life has turned out and I'm glad we waited so long to get married. It helped us grow separately and together before we sealed the deal.

I thought I'd get married at 24, have my first baby at 27 and the others soon after.

I had my first baby at 26 and got married at 27, so I was kind of close!

I never had specific ages in my mind, but I thought I would be a "young" mom. However, when my friends started having kids in their early 20s, I freaked.

#1 will be here by the time I'm 29, and hopefully #2 will be ASAP after-- so no later than 31 if ideal?

I always assumed I'd settle down at a "young" age, and getting married at 23 would qualify, I think.

And I've ALWAYS wanted to be a young Mom. As a kid/teen I always felt like my friends with younger parents got along with their parents so much better (not that there's any truth to that, just my perception with my friends). I'll be 24 when baby #1 is born, and I'd like to have baby #2 within a few years. So, overall, I think I'm "on track" with the timeline I always had in my head.

I don't think I ever thought my husband would be 7 years older than me though, lol

I thought I would be married by 25 and have a baby or two by 30. I met DH at age 21, but we took the long road and got married when I was 29. We started TTC when I was 30, got pregnant when I was 31, and will have baby #1 when I'm 31 (but almost 32). Now, I'm hoping to have #2 at 33 and #3 at 35 : )

Well, I wound up getting married a little over a month ago at 24, and we'll probably start trying for a baby next year (so I'll most likely be 25ish when we have our first).

So, a few years earlier than originally planned, but I finished everything a little earlier than planned (high school, college, was able to buy a house early, etc.) so this fits right in with the rest.

Back in high school in the late nineties, I figured I'd meet my future husband first year of university, and be married about the time we graduated from our four year degrees, and have our first baby before I was 25. Didn't work out that way at all.
I reconnected with a high school ex a few years out of school, and started dating a few years after that, and only got married this summer at 31, expecting our first this winter at 32. Seven years behind schedule.

I always thought I would get married in my early twenties and start a family in my mid to late twenties. I thought my husband would be roughly in the same age range with maybe a year or two separating us.

I got married at 22 and will be at least 24 when our first child is born. We're TTC now but my birthday will take place before the kid would be born. The only thing that hasn't followed my "plan" is that my husband is 5 years older and will be either 28 or 29 when our first child is (hopefully) born and then in his 30's when other children come along.

I didn't get married until I was 29, but we're looking to start trying next year so hopefully I'll be around 31 when we have our first (so not too far off that plan).

Right exactly on track, if we manage to conceive next year as planned. Fingers crossed!
