Were you regular?
I'm still breastfeeding and got my period once last August randomly but not again until December 31st. Lucy's regularly sleeping through the night now (praise God!!) and I think I'll probably start getting my period again regularly. I usually have 29-31 days cycles and it's been 33 days.
Curious if it might just be a little wonky starting out? Would love to hear your experience!

I was regular from my first cycle for frequency of AF but my periods were heavier for the first few months. Go Broncos!

@autumnlove: yeah, this last one was heavier and a few days longer than usual too. Curious if that's why my cycles a bit longer too? Who knows! There's also a teenie chance I could be pregnant but I really doubt it.

I've had 3 cycles at 28 days exactly, but this one has had some weird spotting mid cycle. They've been a whole lot lighter than usual, too. So I'm not calling it 'regular' yet.

For the first 3-4 months they were wonky and my periods were super long. But after a few months everything went back to normal.

@NurseMommy: interesting! That's what I think is happening, I think they may just be further apart while my body gets in the swing of things.

I only had two so far at 8 mos postpartum (and still full time nursing/pumping) and they were 57 days apart. Would be nice to know when it's coming!

I've had 2 cycles so far at 4mths pp and they've been 28 days apart--pretty similar to pre preg.

I got my period back at 8 months pp and I'm currently on my sixth pp period. For me, each cycle was shorter than the last up until the 5th one, which was 26 days. My sixth one went back up to 27 days. Before baby they were always 29 or 30 days. I'm a little concerned about the short cycles, especially because I spot for a few days before my period which wasn't typical for me pre baby. I'm actually seeing my OB Tuesday to talk about it, but I have a feeling she may tell me it's not worth looking into until LO is fully weaned.

I've never been regular so don't expect to be now!! The one thing I've noticed is the 2 I've had so far have been SUPER long, like, 7 or 8 days!!

@MamaMoose: hopefully just breastfeeding related, definitely doesn't hurt to ask though!
