I have 2 pregnant mommies to shop for and wondering when it's appropriate to send them gifts. One is due in Dec and the other in Jan. I live abroad so going to the baby shower isn't an option.
Thanks!

I'd say you're in the clear as long as you've heard the happy news from them. I might aim for around 1-2 mos before the due dates, or around the shower, but I would assume a gift from a friend abroad would be meaningful and appreciated any time!

There's no bad time to receive a gift I might wait till the third trimester, around when they are having the shower. Or after the baby is here depending on what the gift is and if they wont need it right away. But I prefer before... Too much stress to write a thank you when you have a newborn.

Third trimester is good - cute clothes are always appreciated.
I also really appreciated getting things right after she was born. On the hard days a random gift showing up was awesome.

I think anytime in the 3rd trimester or after the baby is born.

I have a friend who just had a baby last week, in a different country, and I sent the gift after their daughter was born. They were team green, so I waited since I sent clothes.
