My dad is 100% Greek. My mom's family has been in America for a long time so she's kind of a melting pot but mostly Scottish, English and German.

Mostly Irish and Welsh but there's some French Canadian and probably other British Isle ancestors too...

My dads family is from northern Italy. A lot of family still lives there!

My moms side of the family is Irish, English and Czech.

One of my great-aunts traced my mom’s side back to the 1600’s when we first arrived in America, so we’re a pretty solidly “American” mix by now lol before then, my mom’s side was from England and some other British Isles (we’re not 100% sure if Wales or Scotland). Prior to the civil war, at least one of my male relatives married Native American women, but I don’t know what tribes they were from.

My dad’s side is more of a mix, but we’re mainly French, French Canadian and Alsace area German ancestry. There is also some Native American mixed in, but we don’t know much about that either because it was a bit of a family secret. My dad’s family is interesting looks-wise. We are either very fair with light hair and pale skin, or very dark with olive skin and black hair. There isn’t much in between.

America as far back as we can see, I think we might be from England? Sweden? I really don't know.

Mostly Irish...my mom's dad's parent immigrated from Ireland. We can also trace my dad's dad's heritage from Ireland. My dad's gramma's history is unknown, cause my great grandma was adopted. Unsure of my mom's mom's family...they're pretty blended.

I identify with the Irish heritage most of all. Probably cause my grandpa was so proud of it, it's ingrained in me.

1/2 German (mom's side), 1/4 English (paternal grandfather), 1/4 Polish (paternal grandmother).

Moms side is solidly Irish - they've been living in the same area of Canada since they immigrated over in the 1800's. Dads is a UK mix.

China/Taiwan for me, Korea for DH.

I'm 75% swiss-german (All from the same area) and 25 % either scottish or irish (conflicting reports). Funny-but-true: my parents found out way after marriage that they are 3rd cousins. Yup! Through the swiss-german side(s) of the family.

Long story short: a group of people immigrated en masse from Schwarzenau, Germany all at the same time for religious reasons---they were a special sect of protestant in a largely catholic country and were discriminated against--and all ended up in the same county in Virginia in the late 1800's in the US. Both my dad and my mom came from those people. But my Dad's dad (where we get our last name) was an interloper that joined the sect after marrying my grandmother. So he's the 25% that's a little unclear. The swiss-german side, we can trace our lineage back to the 400's in Europe. We have a book published with our ancestry.

DH has no idea where his family is from (SOB) except he is obviously of some kind of European decent and 1/8 Native American

1/4 each - Polish, Dutch, Hungarian, Bohemian (now part of Czech). DH is none of the above - he's German and some other stuff. Our poor LO will be a mess!
