If you have curbside pickup, where do you store your large garbage cans?
Right now, they're in our garage, which I hate. We have deer in the area, so they do need to be enclosed, so I was debating a small shed. Does anyone have one they'd recommend? Totally gross topic, I know!

Ours are in the garage too - why do you hate keeping them in there?
I love that I can just open the garage door (without going outside) to throw away the trash

@Mamaof2: The garage is on the smaller side, and the cans are right now in the center, between the spots for the cars, so it makes it difficult to move around.
Plus, in the summer, it gets hot in there, and the garbage attracts flies!

we constantly have this discussion. we aren't allowed to leave them outside (against HOA anyways) so they're in the garage. Which is fine in the winter, but incredibly smelly in the summer.
Some of our neighbors took a little bit of fencing and made an L shaped nook on the side of their house for their trash cans, though! And it looks nice and hides them well enough, too

We have them next to the garage, between the garage and the fence. I call it the alley. It has a gate.

Next to our garage outside the house. We have a paved walkway into the backyard.

empty ones are in the garage, full ones we put rt outside garage door so it doesn't get stinky!

Next to the garage, but DH tries to keep the smaller recycling cans inside the bigger recycling container because they tend to blow away/fall over on windy days.

We have a rear entry garage so everyone puts their trash can and recycle bin at the end of their driveway. I absolutely hate it!!! I broke one of my sideview mirrors because one was jutting out too far into the alley way and I couldn't see in the dark early mornings. Sigh.

We keep them next to our fence, on the side yard, behind our gate. I wouldn't mind keeping our recycle in the garage because nothing stinks in there and we have to take our recycle out more often than the trash.
