I am curious about buying one for my LO but dont' know what I should be looking for. Any specific brands, type of amber and what are the costs?

I noticed there are some for sale on amazon. I personally have not bought one but I saw them on there the other day when I was searching for items for teething.

You want to make sure its Baltic Amber, as that has the highest levels of the natural anisthetic in it. I ordered one from Amber Aritsans (http://www.amberartisans.com/) and LOVE it. It was about 20 or 30 I think. TOTALLY worth it. Thing is magical

I haven't bought one yet, but I've bookmarked this Etsy Seller for the future because she has a ton of different colors & styles.

look out for them on BabySteals.com- that's where I got ours. I believe it was $13.99.

I bought a amber teething necklace for my LO when he was 6 months old. Inspired by Finn is a reputable company, and I bought mine for $18. Lighter amber is supposed to be more effective. I found the necklace to be helpful for my LO from 6 months to about 13 months. It reduced drooling and seemed to ease any discomfort and pain that he had. Around 14 months he had a lot of teeth come in and we did not use the necklace (lost it at one point and then forgot about it).

@yin: thanks. I am curious if its worth it at this point (15 moths) but she only has 5 front teeth and 2 molars. I kinda just want her to have a cute necklace.
