@regberadaisy: that sounds intense! Hubs and I wanted to relax, so we booked 9 nights at a Sandals on St. Lucia. 4 days into our honeymoon, Hurricane Tomas came along and kind of spoiled our plans. The resort stayed operational and we had food and running water and electricity and stuff, but we had to cancel all of our excursions and it ruined 2 full days of the trip. Not to mention, it was scary as hell! We definitely intend to have a do-over for our 5-year anniversary!

We choose relaxing and went to Negril, Jamaica to Couples Swept Away for 6 days of pure bliss! We are planning on going back there for our 5 year anniversary! We loved the resort so much.

We both went back to work right after the wedding, so we took a mini-moon for a long weekend to NYC a few weeks after we got married. We took our real honeymoon a year after we got married and went to Denmark, Sweden, Russia, Estonia, Finland and Germany.

We went to Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia for a couple weeks.

We went to Bermuda. It was amazing.....

We did a mini-moon right after the wedding to Cape May, NJ. It was lovely and we got to see dolphins swimming at the beach. We wanted to do a tour for our honeymoon and the one we wanted wasn't available until December, so that was our official honeymoon (4 months after wedding)--in Costa Rica. It was a GAP/Discovery adventure to 5 cities in Costa Rica and lots of adventure/activities.

We did both a minimoon and a honeymoon. Minimoon was right after the wedding to a nearby resort town - had some spa services and relaxed for 3 days. Then 2 months after the wedding we went to Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica for a week. We got married in September and wanted to avoid prime hurricane season.

We went to Riviera Maya for a week for our honeymoon. It was the perfect mix of excursions/activities + beach/relaxation.

After taking several really taxing and heavy sightseeing trips, we wanted Relaxation Station after the wedding. And we got it!

We spent a week at an all-inclusive resort in Negril, Jamaica. We made no friends whatsoever, didn't talk about the wedding, didn't do much of anything at all.

It was bliss.

For our honeymoon, we went to Aruba!

We skipped our honeymoon! Definitely taking a babymoon before we have baby #2!

We went to Le Blanc Spa Resort in Cancun . . . I had never heard of a *pillow menu* - lol! It was so gorgeous and so relaxing, we can't wait to go back!

Wanted to go to Italy, but we ended up going to Wailea, Maui instead. Still want to go to Italy though! Maybe for our 10th anniversary...

We went to Quebec City....super romantic. Loved the 'old world' charm and the french language. Plus, we live in a forest/small town situation, so we enjoyed indulging in the 'big city' luxuries.

We went to Nevis, West Indies and stayed in a cottage on one of the old sugar plantations.
