College! She was a friend of a friend of a friend and all of us were hanging out one night. The next day, I went out to breakfast with her and a couple of our mutual friends and I just knew she was going to be my best friend. Been BFFs ever since (12 years)!

He's my ex-boyfriend. I met him in high school at an after-Homecoming party. Then he started dating my best friend at the time. Then they broke up, right around the time that I broke up with my boyfriend, and we supported each other through our breakups. We dated for a year and a half, but then broke up. We've been best friends ever since.

I was looking for a graphic designer and was browsing Pinterest for some inspiration and came across @littlejoy went to her blog and saw she had moved cross country to 20 minutes away from me 2 months before. I met her, loved her and hired her. 3 1/2 years later, we get to do everything together including raising our girls, the best. Plus our hubby's got their own best friends out of the deal. It's been pretty awesome.

@youboots: that's an awesome deal! One of my best friends lives a thousand miles away and the other isn't even married yet... I dream of raising kids with my bestie!
I love how many of you have known your best friends for so long. My other best friend and I have been friends since high school. She actually really disliked me for a long time, then we had a project together, fell in bestie love, and been BFF's ever since.
