We are packing to move and getting rid of things as we go. We usually donate to a well known company (similar to Goodwill), but they don't seem to appreciate our donations. It is all really nice things, some things in packaging or with tags. I'm thinking of taking it elsewhere. Maybe Goodwill or a church or something...

There is a local women's shelter here that is very gracious. I would also call the Salvation Army.

We get calls from the Diabetes Association and they pick up used items. I think they then sell it or something to Goodwill or Salvation Army and use the money towards research. My dad has diabetes so we've always done that.
There is a Salvation Army in town, but most people that shop there don't need to, they just like to find nice deals, so I don't bring my stuff there.

Usually Goodwill but if timing coincides with a church bazaar or something we'll do that too.

we have several salvation army drive through drop-off's so that's where i go, for convenience.

We tend to donate to Goodwill. We used to donate elsewhere but they didn't seem to appreciate it as well.

We take our stuff to Value Village sometimes, although I am a huge fan of donating anything/everything to the Diabetes association.

We have a local hospice attic thrift store that takes all sorts of donations. I love the mission behind the group, but it also helps that it is the closest place to donate and they have a lot of space!
