I like high thread count sheets so I buy whatever is on sale at Macy's or Bed Bath Beyond. I find that the sheets for kids are lower thread count.

I do not know the thread count but they are soft.

@autumnlove: I bought a crib sheet from PBK recently (organic cotton) and it wasn't soft at all.

They currently have cotton sheets from Ikea and some soft jersey ones from Bed Bath and Beyond.
