Spec's. It's a Texas liquor store chain. They have a huge selection. I also buy it at the grocery store too.

We have a local wine store that is amazing & walking distance from my house! Fun fact: you can fit a case of wine in the bottom basket of an UBV.

State Wine and Spirits store, because I live in PA and it's pretty much the only place you can buy it (with the exception of a few special places).

I joined a few wine clubs over the years - membership clubs with wineries and I could pick up my wine from them or have it shipped. When I was pregnant with LO1 I accumulated so much wine though that we discontinued membership. The good thing about those clubs - if you really like the wine - you can buy more and at a discount that is better than what you can get at a store like Total Wine.

@lovehoneybee: ditto. Though we aren't far from the state line so I will venture to the Total Wine in DE occasionally.

DH recently bought a whole case of different wines online. Before that, liquor store.

I'm up North so most grocery stores do not carry wine. We buy it from a local humongous liquor store when they run double up for a buck sales.

No wine in grocery stores here, so liquor store or online grocery delivery (that has a wine store hook up).

Grocery store for anytime wine. Beverages and more for nice wine that we save for special occasions. Winery when we make it to one.

I live pretty close to the Niagara region, so we get a lot of our wine from wineries, but when we go a long time between visits we go to the LCBO.

@.twist.: Soon!! In Ontario, anyway... Not sure about you guys.
We go to the LCBO, or occasionally buy from the little wine stores that they have in some grocery stores here.

@Synchronicity: Really!? I mean, it doesn't seem to make much difference since every grocery store has it's own liquor store right in the same parking lot. But, interesting none the less! I haven't heard anything about it here.

@.twist.: we are supposed to have beer (to start) in some stores by Christmas! Who knows how it will all play out though.

Another Pennsylvania resident that really only has state owned liquor stores. DD's daycare is next to a farm that sells wine, I have yet to buy it there, but they have a nice selection.

@mediagirl: we have a ton of vineyards/wineries in my area and are big on supporting all things local. otherwise, err, Harris teeter?

We belong to 8 wine clubs at local wineries. The discount is 20-30% and we are supporting small business. Many ship from fall to spring.
Eta we also buy from a wine list mostly imports from France. But we have to pick it up in Seattle. Buying from a distributor means big discounts.

Grocery store like Publix or Whole Foods or to a wine store like Total Wine. We are not very fancy wine drinkers.
