We scheduled some donation pickups from Vietnam Vets. They will come by the house on Tuesday to pick up our things. This is so much better than dropping off at Goodwill! And so much easier than doing a yard sale...
Where do you donate your household items?

I did a Veteran's group and placed it all outside for them as I went to work.....but someone stole my stuff before they could pick it up. 
Otherwise I usually do Goodwill.

Depends on the stuff, but usually a DV shelter for women/kids, veterans group or this amazing day shelter and peer recovery center for people who are homeless and/or dealing with substance use or mental illness issues.

Goodwill drop off. I try to save the nicer stuff for charities that might use it directly.

Goodwill drop-off. It's right by LO's preschool so I usually do it on the way back home or on the way to pick her up if I leave early enough.

I always check with the refugee groups first to see if anyone needs the items I have. If not, for clothes I put them in the donation box across the street. For bigger items I donate them through local Facebook groups.
