I’m looking for a new duvet cover for our guest bedroom. I tend to like more modern designs. In the past I’ve purchased bedding at a lot of different places and price points, like West Elm, Target, IKEA, and The Company Store. I don’t want to spend a ton of money as it’s for a guest room, but I’m coming up short everywhere I look. Where are your favorite places to buy bedding? Even better, can you include pictures of what you have? Thanks!

We have duvets and quilts from west elm, amazon, overstock, and bed bath and beyond, but most of it is pretty old and not available anymore. It took us a year to pick out our duvet for our master! But I still love it so I guess it was worth it. Our guest room has my old duvet from before DH and I moved in together and I still love it, simple tan with a white outline of a tree.

Our duvet covers are from Ikea and sheets from Target.

West Elm! Took me about 6 months to decide. Sheets are from Pottery Barn.

Ours is from West Elm, but I can honestly say I am not thrilled at the quality. Granted, we've been using it for years. Lol But it's literally falling apart, and I've never had that happen before.

I've been really happy with our sheets, duvet cover and comforter from Ikea. We just got the duvet for our guest bed actually, same thing I didn't want to spend much money for something that is rarely used.

@ValentineMommy: Really? That’s good to know. The duvet cover on our bed is West Elm and so far has held up well, but it’s only a few years old.

@LemonJack: Unfortunately. I mixed and matched a duvet cover and another bedspread/shams. Both the duvet cover and the shams in a different style are threadbare and have tears. I will say, it's probably a good 6 years old....so that's a long time. I just have a hard time buying things for myself haha. On the flip side, the are SO soft, which may also be why I have a hard time getting rid of them.

@ValentineMommy: I’m the same way, and I don’t think six years is that long, especially considering they don’t get the same level of wear and tear as sheets.

Sometimes you can struck gold at Tjmaxx/Marshalls/Home Goods!
But mine mostly come from Ikea/Target.

I like the plain white hotel bedding and I used to shop the sales at Bloomies... but I discovered a set at Costco and now I buy there! This way I can replace the sheets every year or so and the duvet/shams every 3 years.

We just got sheets from Brooklinen and really like them. Quality feels great.

I'm with the others, though - it took me several months and 6-8 tries of ordering/returning bedsets to find something I liked in my master!!!

Just wanted to update and say I’m super happy with the quality of the duvet cover and shams I just got from CB2. Heavy weight material, good construction. Nice finishing details. Much, much better than the both the pottery barn and west elm items I’ve tried in the past.
