I am half dreading, half excited about my first post-baby swimsuits. My pre-baby bikinis aren't gonna work this year!
Where do you find suits with a bit more coverage? One or two piece. I need to find one that will accomodate a larger cup size as well.

ASOS has really cute swimsuits with larger bra size based tops and bottoms with more coverage. I've heard good things about Nordstrom too but haven't bought any from there yet. Good luck! Swimsuit shopping is the worst!

I plan on getting a one-piece from jcrew with ruching. I saw a woman at the pool last summer in something similar and it was so flattering.

I decided when I was pregnant that I was never wearing a bikini again. It's not so much a weight issue as I have a really short torso and a huge chest, so bikinis look ridiculous on me. I prefer one-pieces because I think they are more flattering, but I have a few tankinis I like, too.
Because underwire and bra-sizing is a must for me, I have had the best luck with Miracle Suit and the underwire tankinis from Athleta. Both are pricey, but SOOOO worth it. If you can get away with S/M/L sizing, Old Navy has really cute retro one pieces that are VERY flattering (that is what I wore while pregnant).

I'm glad you asked this! Pre-baby I bought my bikinis from the juniors section at Target. Those aren't gonna fly with my boobs and I think they look to "young" in general for me now. I'd like a two-piece with full coverage but still a little sexy. I am thinking VS.

My mom swears by Lands End and they always really look cute, but I'm afraid of catalog/online shopping. Sometimes they have them in Sears, if the try-on is important to you, too.
I've been happy with J Crew for two-pieces and American Apparel for one-piece (or higher waisted bottoms to cover more than my J Crew bottoms).

@grizz: I always got mine from VS...but for high coverage and "compression" suits, you can get that from ON. They have tankinis which had compression tank under to suck it whatever needs to be
I didn't wear any swimsuit the summer after I had my son, but had we gone on vacation, I would've gotten one from ON because I was only 6m pp at the time.ETA: so, I just popped over to ON's website to check on the ones I mentioned to you and they aren't out yet. I'd imagine they will be by March since that is when all the college spring breaks start.

Figleaves.com has awesome swimsuits in hard-to-find sizes - I'm a 30G, so I need support and coverage or it's a little obscene!

@raspberries: Totally agreed! Target/JCrew/Etc just weren't going to cut it for me (32F pre-preg and 32H while nursing), and I found an adorable, vintage-inspired one-piece there postpartum.

@grizz: @rattles: Totally - they have a nice variety, and the prices aren't as bad as most other places.
I remember my mom taking me to get fitted at VS when I was a teenager and the girl gave me a once-over and was like, "Honey, I don't even need to get the tape measure out; you're not gonna be able to fit in our bras." Probably the ultimate embarrassment to a 15-year-old, but I've come to accept that I could have worse problems!
