Bee's mom is visiting, and the kids keep asking her to cosleep with them!
Usually she sleeps in our bed, and we sleep with the kids or on the couch.

They sleep on a queen bed in LOs room. LO still sleeps in her crib in there, and they take any night wakeups and when she wakes in the morning.
Gives us a break!

We have two extra bedrooms and a pullout couch in basement, so my parents have a queen bed, my sister is in a full, and my brother on pullout. They live across the country and visit 4x per year at least, so we've perfected our setup!

we have a guest bedroom so they sleep there. If both sets of parents are visiting one gets our room and one the guest room, then we sleep on the couch or air mattress. LO is still in a crib and doesn't like sleeping with anyone

We use to have a sleeper sofa but now they use an air mattress. I offered up our bed to them once (not thinking they would accept) and never again.

Luckily they never spend the night! They all live somewhat close by.

At my husband's grandfather's house about 20 mins away or at Airbnb. Now that his grandad has passed on, they are going to sell his house. So they'll be staying in our guestroom mostly. Thing is, they are in, typically once a month.

@mrbee: In-laws live about 7 min from here so they've never stayed over. My mom came for a day visit once when we loved in and my dad stayed over once with my aunt and cousin. Aunt/cousin slept in our spare room (we have 2 single beds in our spare room) and my dad slept on an air mattress in our office.

We have a guest bedroom. But when my family comes, usually the whole family comes for a visit. They're actually all coming this weekend. My oldest brother, his wife and 2 yr old nephew will all sleep in the guest room.
DD1 will be sleeping in our bed so my mom will take her room. DD2 will sleep in a PnP in our room and my other brother will sleep on a aerobed in her room. Then my niece and 2 nephews will sleep on a queen aerobed in the family room. Eventually one of the kids end up on the couch.We're asian and don't mind squeezing!

Last time, my mom and 2 aunts visited. My mom took the guestroom, each aunt had an Aerobed: one in the den/storage room and the other in what is now the nursery.

Home! They live one town away.

If both my parents visit they get a hotel. If it's just my mom she takes the couch. We're about to have a guest bed in our new place though!

Airbnb with my husbands folks, in our bed or the a full sized bed in the nursery when it's my folks though probably not in the nursery anymore since our newborn daughter arrived.

Airbnb down the street, LOL. We legitimately have no place for two older adults to sleep though. I couldn't put them on an air mattress.

In our old house they got an air mattress on the living room floor. Current house they get the bed in my office/guestroom. When we visit my parents, our kids sleep on their bedroom floor because the guest bedroom isn't big enough for the kids to sleep on the floor and not possibly get stepped on.
