I have a baby gap sweater dress for LO for Thanksgiving and fall wear, but I can't find the thick tights to go under it in a 0-3 type size. I've found lots of the thin, opaque tights, as well as the thick ones in bigger sizes, but I'm at a loss!
Anyone help? I'll include a photo of the dress:

I dont know how thick you want them , but I've seen tights that are as thick as socks at target

@Mrsbells: yes, like socks! that's a good comparison. just so her legs don't get too chilly. I looked there today (in store) and couldn't find anything - they had some in 0-9 but I couldn't tell how thick they were because I didn't want to open the package (I always feel so guilty doing that). I'll check them online!

First of all, that dress is adorable! My thought would be that if you can't find tights, you could probably find some cute leggings.
A quick search led me to these from baby gap. They are in 0-6 month size (which may be better since they should last through the winter for you!). Good luck. I haven't even thought about tights but I probably should since it is getting colder. I don't want to one day realize I have no winter stuff! ha.

@bpcmarj: thanks! I'm obsessed with that dress. lol. so cozy! I remember reading that your daughter is taller, right? they had some REALLY cute leggings and thicker tights at Carter's, but they were too big for a newborn 
but I bet your LO would fit in them! they had some tights and leggings (starting at 3 months). and I looove those ruffle bum tights!

@sorrycharlie: I love everything I have from H&M, I shop there a lot. All my thick tights are from a UK store called Mothercare but I know I saw some cable knit, thick and opaque ones the other day.

gap tights tend to be thick & awesome. these ones on amazon have pretty good reviews (and they're cheap!), but i've never used them before. they're 0-6 months

@Mrsbells: have you had good luck with the trumpette tights at target? they were super cute, but the 1st time they were worn we had a hole in the crotch of them by noon =/ wasn't sure if it was a fluke or if trumpette for target isn't as great as regular trumpette stuff.

Target and Walmart both have really thick tights (like socks) for cheap. I have had good luck with them for both of my DDs. I think I got a few pairs from Old Navy too.

these are 0-6 ruffle butt tights on amazon, they only have a few reviews, but people recommended them for cold weather. i haven't seen these in person, but i like jefferies socks, so i'd imagine they're pretty good with tights too =)
