I'm a teacher and school is starting soon so I signed up for stitchfix and it was such a dud of a box. Any suggestions of where to shop (online with free shipping) would be even better. Thanks!

Nordstrom has good staples and they have plenty of affordable options.

I like Loft, Nordstrom, Banana Republic, and sometimes Gap for basics.

I shop at Ann Taylor (not Loft), Banana Republic and Talbots for basics. I always have great luck at Lord and Taylor, I am not into Nordstrom because there isn't one close to me, but I think it probably would be similar in that it has a ton of designers. Once you know your style and fit, it's easy to shop online. AT and Talbots have free shipping but you have to spend a ton so, I factor that into the purchase per item.

I get all my work dresses from JCPenney. And cardigans from Target. I used to get dress pants from Express, but I'm not sure if they sell the ones I used to like.

I shop mostly at Nordstrom or Amazon, both which have free shipping and returns. Nordstrom the quality is consistently good, Amazon can be really hit or miss but I have gotten some good stuff from there (and when bad it was so cheap that I don't mind too much). My typical work wear would be a pencil skirt, decent looking tee, and cardigan - with either a scarf or some jewelry to dress it up. I have two pencil skirts I wear constantly from Nordstrom and they are still holding up great six years later and will never go out of style. In the winter I might replace the skirt with slacks and the cardigan with a blazer to have something warmer.

I shop at Banana Republic, Loft, and Nordstrom for business casual pants/tops. I sometimes have luck with tops at Old Navy and get dresses there also.

I do Loft, Gap, and Van Heusen. I just discovered Van Huesen this Spring and I love it!

I love TJMaxx - they have some great Calvin Klein, Willi Smith, and Express stuff there. I always find good teaching clothes there ranging from simple basics to unique stuff.
