We can't have a real tree anymore due to severe allergies. I had a fake tree from Walmart that I purchased fresh out of college. It was definitely a Charlie Brown tree and DH convinced me to pitch it after last Christmas.
Where should I look for a new one? Any good sales that normally run?
I had big plans to watch sales after Christmas and through the summer months but that clearly didn't happen...

I was never able to catch an after Christmas sale.
I think I ordered ours from lowes several years ago right at the first of December. You can research onling by looking at tip count which gives you an idea how full the tree is.

A lot of stores will have pre-Christmas sales. I know they always had nice looking ones at Target.

Costco usually has a great one, not super cheap $300ish I think? But beautiful and had lights that you can switch from colored to white with a remote.

We love ours from Lowes. We've had it for almost 10 years and it's still like new. People are also always shocked when they realize it's not real.

We got ours on clearance at Target right before Christmas a few years ago. It seems like now they don't even wait for the holiday to pass before things go on sale/clearance.

I got one last year from Target for so so so cheap! I think it was on sale then a cartwheel deal popped up. I love that tree.. We had done real but after kids I just don't have the energy to maintain!

My family's always had fake trees due to allergies too! We got a little one at Home Depot but I hope to eventually get a full size one when we've upgraded from our little apt.

We got ours from Target. It had lights already attached to the branches, but I would actually recommend against it. Now one section of our tree has no lights because one of the bulbs broke. =\

@ShootingStar: We tried, but the replacement bulbs didn't work either. We just take a string of lights and wrap it around that section now.
