Love floorplans.

In front of the bar looks like a good place. The table appears to be out of the flow oc traffic and you can still see it from the fam room.

We had our kid table and chairs in the play area for the longest time. Now we hvae it in the kitchen, right next to our small island. It's perfect because Wagon Jr. has the option to sit there and eat, we can put snacks on there that both kids can access when we're at home playing, and it's great for art projects because there's no rug in there!

Is there room between the couch and wal;, kitty corner to the TV? I like that it's out of the way.

I do like it in the bar room because then it can double as a "play room". But are you OK with her being out of your line of sight.

Next to the island is good to because it seems most useful on a day to day basis.

@mediagirl: haha I was going to say!! Well I live in the land of the 3 bedroom, 1 bath house so you can imagine my shock at a bedroom #6

That's actually my ideal... full bath on the first floor with a small study/guest room so guests never have to go upstairs. Especially since our bedrooms are only for sleeping (no kids toys, etc, we don't really watch TV in our room etc). In our house search we call it the "3 up, 1 down, full bath on each" house. Haha. It's rare around here because of all the old houses that are cape style. Usually the 2nd floor is an attic converted into 2 equal bedrooms, so it's almost always 2 up, 2 down, full bath on each. So you can imagine, with 2 kids in separate bedrooms, not very conducive to our needs!!

@mediagirl: I love em too!! We had an offer accepted on one but it fell through during inspections (which is fine... the owner is a serious DIY guy and not very good at it). But it was 2 up, 1 down and we were hoping to split one of the upstairs bedrooms into 2 for the kids.
