Have you thought about your final resting place? What plans do you have for your remains? Do they conflict with your family's?

I prefer to be cremated after donating what i can. They can spread my ashes but I don't have a particular place.

@Dandelion: same here. I don't want to be buried, so I've told DH that I want to be cremated and I don't know... Turned into a reef ball or something. I don't particularly want to sit on a shelf somewhere...
DH doesn't know what he wants, but he's said he doesn't want to be buried if I won't be with him.

Omg I have no idea. I always thought CA.., but maybe i'll be cremated..

@Dandelion: @Bookish: I want to be cremated and have my ashes scattered in the Potomac River and along the blooming Cherry Blossoms. My husband keeps saying he wants to be stuffed as in taxidermy. He finally admitted he doesn't want to be buried because no one will visit his grave. I guess that happens when you live places, but none feel like home. People don't have a stake in visiting those old places not even to visit graves.

I want to be cremated for the simple fact that it is SO much cheaper. It costs a small fortune for a funeral and burial plot/casket/vault. I don't want to put that burden on my family.
