Just curious to know what the most popular brand of baby bottles is on here. I started out with Playtex nursers with the drop in liners, briefly used avent, and dr browns and now I am using Ventaire by playtex.
Which brand do you use?

We use evenflo glass bottles. I love them and the babes have no trouble with them. Super affordable, and my mom even passed a box of them down to me that my sister and I used as babies, so super durable too!

We went with Nuk because I received a free one and it was the first one I tried. We rarely give a bottle but because it worked, I figured I'd stick with it and bought a few more.

@Mrsdaredevil: Do you love these?? They were the ones I so wanted to try... but because the other brand worked for us I didn't bother investing in them. I'm kinda disappointed.. they look so cool!

We use mOmma--they are made by Lansinoh. We started with Avent and then Medela.

@LAGS: yep, I love them! We introduced them at 2 weeks and never had problems with nipple confusion. And she never has gas...but I think that is just the type of baby she is. However she only takes a bottle like once a week!

@Mrsbells: What made you switch from the playtex drop-ins? I registered for that whole system...

@Mrsdaredevil: this is what we use too, never an issue! really happy with the brand.

We use the Born Free bottles, but I don't think they make them anymore?

Playtex Drop In Nursers - we started out using Medela just because they came with the pump but my son drank them too fast and got a lot of gas. Drop Ins are good for gas, supposedly.

Dr Browns. We tried avent, which gave her horrible gas and projectile vomiting. We used Playtex Ventaire pretty successfully for a while until i decided i like the Dr Browns better.

@Tidybee: Its a bit tricky knowing how much milk is in the liners, its never very accurate. You cant tell exactly how much you put in or how much is left after feeding unless you pour into another container before and after. Also sometimes the liners can pull free from the bottle and milk spills everywhere. I do like the liner system especialy for the firt few months when baby is drinking 4oz or less at a time.
Also I bought the 2 gift starter sets on sale but I guess they were on sale because they are the older style and they are quite bulky and some of the nipple rings dont fit very well.

We started with tommy tippees but I think the flow must have been too fast for our lo she would gulp them and get really gassy....we use born free now and they're great!

@Mrsdaredevil: @Pipers Mommy: Yay! This is what we registered for! Looking at them, I just liked the shape - they seemed to be much closer to....well, closer to nature! (c:

I'd love to check more than one... We use Dr. Brown's, MAM, and now the Joovy Boob, which rocks!

Avent. He started hating the Dr. Browns nipples early on and I had a coupon for the Avent bottles, so I figured I'd try it. He's been happy with those, so we haven't switched around.

I was plannign on using the ventaire. A friend told me NOT to waste my money on Dr. Browns. Said they always leaked. Anyone else have this prob?

My son had a lot of gas problems- I tried a ton of different ones and ended up with the Ventaire.

We have one Nuk and one Avent, and we bought the set of Playtex drop ins, but my mom bought us medela bottles when LO was 2 days old, and they are easy with my pump, so I almost never use the other ones. And LO hardly cares. He takes forever to eat from a bottle, and it doesn't seem to matter which bottle...
Never used the playtex drop ins

We use Dr. Browns. Tried Avent but LO couldn't get a good latch on them and was so, so, so messy! She latched right onto the Dr. Browns though without trouble. Haven't had any leaking issues - the only time a bottle leaked was when I forgot to put in the 2 piece air vent system thing that goes inside the bottles.

We use Tommee Tippee too, they have been great so far, though she rarely needs a bottle.

Avent bottles here but they just came out with a new model which is suppose to be more natural and suppose to be easy to switch between breast and bottle. I'm so curious to try!

Used playtex drop ins with Wagon Jr., but this time around we're feeding directly from the Medela bottles with Lil Miss Wagon. One less step, and thank goodness she hasn't had a problem with nipple confusion.

mOmma by Lansinoh. It was the only one she would take. She only gets a bottle 4-5 times/week, so we're not going to try others.

We used Tommee Tippee. Introduced it at about 4 days old and she never had any issues going from breast to bottle and back. Her latch was identical on the bottle as it was on me.

We use Nuk, Playtex dropins (newer style) and Avent (old style without collar system and new style with collar system that I hate!). I pump into the Medela bottles or the Evenflo glass bottles. She gets two bottles a day, and the rest of the time she nurses..

we use born free, avent and platex ventiair
@RESCUEMOM10: we just tried dr. brown and hated it, it leaked all over and poor ds couldnt latch the nipple good at all.
