I haven't seen the new Parenthood, because I'm too attached to the 1980's film with Steve Martin. I'm a little confused about the new show, because they appear to be using some of the same names as the characters from the film but it's totally different.

I'm Nathan Huffner from the film (played by Rick Moranis). My DH and I plan on homeschooling. We've seriously discussed how best to introduce calculus by the age of ten.
