It doesn't have to be be the next in-order milestone!
My son is 3.5m and I look forward to starting him on solids! I can't wait because it will be super fun to see his reaction to certain foods and to get all those fun spoons and bowls:)
The milestone I've enjoyed most so far is the social smile:)

I'm looking forward to when my DD can crawl! I loved the crawling stage with my son so I"m looking forward to that. Right now, I'm enjoying her social smiles and giggles. And her belly laughs kill me!

I can't wait for LO to sleep through the night for long stretches, but that's more for my sanity. Interaction-wise, I'm really looking forward to LO rolling over and sitting up.

I'm looking forward to crawling, and I'm loving the belly laughs & the fact she found her toes. She makes an "O" face every time she grabs them like she's shocked she has found them. It's super cute.

@TurtleDoves: she's only 5 weeks, so no training for a while. 2 nights ago she slept 6 straight hours, last night she did 2 4 hour chunks, waking only once for a feeding, so we are making progress.

Ahh cutie!!!
I was so excited for LO's first smile and laugh. I am super excited for when he is able to sit up--I feel like that's when they really start getting into toys and things. I am also excited for talking--can't wait to hear my LO's sweet little voice.

@TurtleDoves: We've been fortunate. I'm pretty sure we have an angel baby. She only cries when hungry and sometimes when we're changing her diaper. She usually goes to sleep well too.

I think my favorite milestone has been laughing. LO LOVES to laugh. It makes my heart melt everytime he giggles.

I love that my DD can smile, laugh and coo. Her coos are more like screaming but these are my favorite so far. DD just started on solids and she is so adorable when she eats her sweet potato, she is unsure what it is and isnt sure if she likes it or not.

i'm looking forward to talking for olive! she can say 6 words, but isn't gaining new words at the same pace that charlie did. talking is just the most fun milestone!
then of course it'd be great if she started walking, but i'm anticipating that will happen around 18 months. i'm in no rush for her to walk as it's easier because she doesn't, but i do want her to walk in daycare so she's not crawling around on the floor!

The milestone I'm looking most forward to, is when they can mow the lawn and/or shovel the driveway. But I'll take laughing in the meantime.

My favorite milestone so far has been laughing.
I'm looking forward to starting him on solids (really soon!) and his first words. Crawling too, just because he's been working on it and I'm excited to see him figure it out.

I currently love the giggles....they melt my heart!
I am looking forward to crawling (DS is 6 mos and sitting unsupported right now). I know crawling will be a whole new challenge but I think it will be fun!

I'm really looking forward to LO walking, he is so close.
I currently enjoy him crawling. It is so funny seeing him get around from room to room, he is pretty fast!

Am I the only one who seriously fears crawling? I think its because we have hardwood floors and I feel like those might cause slipping and injury? Any experiences?

I can't wait for her to say Mama (and know that I'm the one that goes with!) She babbles mostly dadadadada right now, and will parrot dadada back to us, but man I want a mama thrown in there!

So far my favorites have been her big belly laughs and feeding herself finger foods, which makes going out to eat so much easier on her parents!
