I have to start by saying I am a traditional kinda gal. I love PB Kids and greatly look forward to them uploading new items! I am torn between these two PB Kids sets. Which would you get? We have light tan walls and plan on getting espresso furniture.
Madras (with star sheets) or Jackson (whale)?

Whales for sure! Colors are more subtle and meld together better, but that is more my personal taste.

I chose madras. I think it's classic and you could somewhat change things up with it, and play off of any of the colors in the print. Whales would generally have to stay in a nautical theme.

Madres, primarily because I remember G's crib sized "comforter"/blanket still working great for him up until preschool age... I think he even took one to school one day for their pajama party. The whales, I think have a more baby feel & the madres is more timeless as a blanket.

@ladybee: PB Kids crib sheets are the best. They have deep pockets and hold up well. My SIL recommended them to me.

@LindsayInNY: I think of madras only in shorts. LO has two pairs and looks adorable in them. As bedding, not for me.

I voted madras because I like that it's not as baby-ish (but it totally depends on your taste/style!).
