Our winters are long and cold, so I’m shopping for a new coat that doesn’t make me look like a marshmallow. I’ll still wear my marshmallow when I’m going ice skating or anything else outdoorsy, but I’d like to have something stylish to wear to dinner, book club, etc.

I love really long coats like this, but I’m having trouble deciding on a color. Black is my default, but it’s not an option. My wardrobe is mostly neutrals—black, white, gray, navy/jeans, and green. I gravitated toward green first. Then I thought the gray might be more versatile. But the red would make a statement in my sea of neutrals...it kind of has that French vibe.

Anyway, which color do you like best?
