My brother is the splitting image of my mom. But I never looked like either of my parents. My mom used to say that I looked her my aunt but...I don't know!
I used to really believe that I was adopted.
Which parent do you look like?

I looked exactly like my dad growing up so there was no worry that I was adopted. Into adulthood, I started looking more like my mom. Now I look like a good mix of the two.

@Rubies: my older siblings used to tell me I was found on the side of the road. But I look like my mom.

Like my mom. Once I even found an old picture of her and for a moment thought it was me!

I was born with darker skin and looking just like my dad. After puberty my skin got lighter and I now look like my mom.
My bro was born super fair-skinned and looked just like my mom... and now he is the spitting image of my dad.

@artbee: my family used to joke that I was thrown over the fence by the neighbours before they moved!
I never really looked like either of my parents, but I'd say more my dad than my mom. I apparently look like my dad's mothers family in England.

i think i look a lil like both of my parents. when i'm with my dad, people used to say i looked like my dad. when i'm with my mom, they'd say i looked like my mom. other people would say my bro and i didn't look like our parents but we looked like each other.

I don't think I look like either parent, but my brother and I look the most alike. My family says that I favor my dad's mom and my brother favors my mom's side of the family. I'm never good at this game!

I look just like my mom and have similar coloring to her (think caramel). My sister is darker and looks like my dad/dad's side of the family.
@artbee: I used to tell my sister that we found her in a bush in Africa.

I look like the (female) spitting image of my dad, but I have my mom's fair coloring.

I look a lot like my dad's mother - short, fair hair & skin, increasingly pair-shaped. I also inherited the crazy from her (depression, at least). My older sister is pretty much the opposite and fits right in with my mom's family - tall, tan, beak-nosed. My little brother and sister are hybrids, although I think they look more like me than our older sister.

I can't really see either of my parents' faces in my own. But I can definitely say I have some of their features. My dad has super curly hair, which I have too. I definitely got my maternal grandmother's height-- she's 4'9" and I'm 5' even. My nose came from both of my grandfathers- long-ish with a bump in the middle.

I am essentially a carbon-copy of my mother. In older pictures of her there is no distinguishing between us- it freaks DH out that he can't tell.

I look like my mom, except I'm blonde and she's brunette. My brother and I could be twins - he's got darker hair though - and he's 4 years younger (ha, but I look young!) My sister and my other brother look just like my dad. Funny how genetics works!

I look exactly like my dad, and my dad's side of the family in general. Everyone has always said that I must not be my mother's child, because I look nothing like her (in retrospect, I hope that didn't hurt her feelings when I was young! I'm sure she's used to the comments by now). I have dark hair and am darker complected like my dad's side of the family....my mom's family ALL has fair skin and red or blonde hair.
The one feature that is my own (in regards to my parents) are my blue eyes. Both parents have very dark brown eyes. When I was 5 or 6, I read a book where a little girl figured out she was adopted because she had brown eyes and her parents had blue eyes. Even though my situation was the other way around, I cried and cried because I thought I had figured out that I was adopted! Later in life I learned, of course, that 2 people with brown eyes CAN have a blue eyed baby...lol!!
(DH's family is the same...he has blue eyes while both of his parents have brown eyes)

Most people say I look like my mom, but I also see some features from my dad's side in me.

I look like my Dad. I have his face, his eyes, his mouth and his ears. I have my Mom's nose. I also have his chicken legs!!
