It's a different type of love!.. Love them equally and differently

Wow, what a poll! I can't vote since I don't have a LO, but I am curious to see what the results look like!

Both! Like chopsuey said, different type of love. But sometimes, I admit, when my LO does something that melts my heart, at that moment I think I love my LO a teeny bit more.

I was thinking about this last night- I couldn't decide. My husband was watching Awake last night, where the husband has his son alive in one part of his life and his wife alive in another part- it was making me cry so I couldn't watch it.

Totally a different type of love. They're not really comparable.

Have to agree with pp, they are totally different loves and impossible to compare.

Haha, I disagree. I definitely love my LO more than SO. Yes, it's a different type of love and I do love my SO to bits but I think of it this way: if my husband were to do something really horrible, like cheat on me (which I know he wouldn't), then I can, over time, stop loving him. My LO, however, can grow up to be an ax murderer and I would still love her....I'd watch my back, but I'd still love her.
