When it comes to parenting, who is more on top of things? For example:
-making sure LO gets their meds, if needed
-remembering upcoming school events
-scheduling appointments/knowing when appointments are
Things like this, who is more on top of it, your or your SO? I am definitely more on top of this stuff, but it works for us...so I can't complain!

It was pretty even when I worked but now I do most of this stuff. DH is really on top of meds.

Me for sure. I stay home though so I feel like it mostly falls under my role.

Me but i am a sahm. If roles were reversed he would be on top of it and do a good job!

It's totally 50/50. I am more of the organizer and DH takes care of the details. He is the expert on meds and administering/remembering them and I schedule the doctors appt!

Me. Organization is not my husbands strong suit. He also works 80-100 hrs a week so doesn't have the bandwidth to deal.

Ohhh me! DH is good at cleaning and immediate things but organization and such is not his thing

Me, but probably because I'm a SAHM. Meds DH is better than I am, but I'm more the scheduler.

I SAH so that's basically my job. I write the important things on our calendar so DH can see what's going on. he is pretty good remembering normal things that happen, like what days lo has school.

Me, but I'm still on maternity leave, so I take him to his appointments and make most of his meals. DH would do a good job if he were more present during the day.

Me for sure, and it can be a little bit of a point of contention. I think he just doesn't realize sometimes the mental space it takes to keep track of everything.
He has, however, recently taken over all of pet care, and with a dog and a sick cat it is a lot and he's doing awesome. So there's that at least

Me, totally, but I also sah so that makes sense. And he is way more on top of finances and bills so I try not to complain. @petitenoisette: I do wish he realized the mental space it takes to keep track of everything! But I try and remember that he's keeping track of a lot of things too.

Me. But like others have already mentioned, I SAH. However, even when we were both working, I was still staying on top of our social and professional calendars, keeping track of our bills, meal planning, etc. DH is much more of a free spirit while I thrive on plans and organization. He keeps me smiling, I keep him in clean socks.

Me, similar to what @gingerbebe: said although we refer to me as the planner/organizer and DH as the "executioner" haha! It's also nice that DH is really good about acknowledging the amount of mental effort I spend on keeping track of everything.

I do most of the organizing/setting up but my husband is amazing support and will make a lot of the phone calls if necessary. I'm like the starter and he's often the finisher...

Me for all the daily life stuff and school events, doc check-ups.
DH is very on top of meds and such when they're sick though.

Definitely me. I'm a SAHM, so I do all the scheduling and I'm in charge of the majority of childcare
