I put this under money because DH & I just realized we spend an arm & a leg on internet & cable. We are looking to slash that!
Currently we have Comcast internet and Dish network. We have $150/m.
Could we do better?

At&T Uverse. They have great sign up specials! (for about a year) then they are priced similarly to what you're paying now.
FIOS is very similar if Uverse isnt available in your area.

We have FIOS (internet, cable, phone) - it's Verizon. We pay approximately $120 per month so similar to you. I think prices vary depending on where you live...? Not sure though.

We have Comcast and only pay for basic channels and Internet. It's so pricey, but I don't want to get Verizon fios.

@TurtleDoves: it depends entirely on what package you have.
We have Comcast, with blast Internet, an HD/DVR, all the premium channels. We pay $150/mo including tax.
I think it's an outrageous price as well but were also locked into a deal, so compared to the retail price I think it's a steal!
We don't have any alternative options in our area other than Dish. We've researched and price compared and its more expensive!

We do FIOS internet - Cable/Internet/Phone bundle --- we just switched from Comcast because their prices were rising.. I think for that bundle we pay around $100/month including taxes.
We got rid of DVR, premium channels and even some weird channels that we used to get that we don't have now, that saved us a bit -- and they were having some kind of promotion that was $89/month - so with taxes/etc it ends up being around $100

We pay $92 for cable Internet, and $16 for Hulu plus and Netflix. We also get a higher speed and data cap than the regular rates.

Tek Savvy. I recommend them to everyone. We are in Canada, in the Greater Toronto Area.

We have Comcast now in our new house and have a special 12-month deal thats about $70/month for cable (including DVR, HBO, etc.) and internet.
We had Time Warner at our old house and for cable (DVR, HBO, but not the other premium channels like Showtime, etc.) and internet it was $194/month.
Ridic.

hm we are in Canada with a local company that wouldn't be known, but just FYI, we pay $140 a month and that is internet, cable and home phone.
