Bee is much better at research than me, so she books almost every trip we take. We're going upstate next week, and I researched/picked the location and made the arrangements. A true rarity, and made me realize that I should do this more often.
Who makes the travel arrangements for trips and vacations?

We start out doing it together...but then my H likes to look at every. single. option to make sure we're getting the best price and I quickly grow impatient with that. So then I just let him get on with it and he lets me know when he's figured out the best arrangement so I can approve.

We both do it pretty equally, although I spend much less time researching all the possibilities. I tend to book the first thing I like in the budget while DH will look at reviews for everything. I leave it to DH to book tickets and hotels since he has all the passport numbers and airline awards numbers in a file.

I spend more time researching and then my husband tends to do the final booking/buying part--it's pretty equal. We both like to be involved in the process.

I do the research and when I find a couple things I like I ask what he thinks.

Always everything me for our vacations. But I'm the pickier control freak, so I'd double check and redo anything he did anyways if he tried.

I usually do, because I'm better at researching and finding deals. DH likes to be in charge of dinner reservations once we're there, since he's a foodie.

I do! I used to enjoy it, but after awhile it becomes a chore being the one to plan everything.

I do it all unless I ask him specifically to do something. I like doing it and he doesn't. Plus I'm picky and he is much more easy going.

Always me. I actually had DH book his own plane tickets for an interview a month ago after we'd agreed on the flight and he accidentally booked through a spam site and got our credit card cancelled. So me. Always. I enjoy it but it is also a stress.

Me. Though on small road trips, I'll have my husband think it through. I usually just sit in the car while he drives. But on big trips, I'll plan it.

Me. I feel like I need the control.
I do ask for his input and opinion. What he envisions for the trip and try to make that happen.
On the trip, I hold all the documents.

Me, always! I'm a born traveller with a wealth of travel experience and knowledge so DH is perfectly happy to leave it all up to me. He hasn't been disappointed yet

@mrbee: We both play a part. I do most of the research (attractions, sight seeing, hotels), but my DH will look up and book the flight and rental car (if needed) and usually ends up booking the hotel from the top couple I give him.
So, I do most of the leg work and DH steals the checkered flag at the end! haha.

I always make the arrangements and do all the planning. I love doing it. It's fun for me. I always confirm with my husband before booking though, to make sure he's okay with everything.

Me. I just booked us a "babymoon" to Playa Del Carmen, and he didn't even know where we were going (like what country!) until I said..."do you even want to know where we are gong?" He stays completely out of the details!
We just got back from a weekend getaway with our kids in the mountain, and it was the same thing. I did all the research and booking and picked where we stayed.
