We were pretty much on the same page. Originally we both wanted to wait a few more years, but then I think I brought up moving up our timetable. After our mc, we both wanted to be parents asap.

I was ready as soon as we got married, so I waited for him to initiate TTC. He was ready right after our first anniversary.

We were both on board at the same time with lo.

Now I'm ready and dh wants to wait he's worried his job isn't stable so I understand, but it's hard to control baby fever!

Me for sure, I had to do a pretty aggressive campaign to get him on team baby.

Pretty even, I think. I was secretly researching baby gear around the same time he started pointing out every baby he saw and saying "I want one of those."

I was, but he didn't need convincing. We decided we were ready for kids, so we got engaged and planned a wedding. We waited to start trying for about 3 months after the wedding for insurance to kick in, but it took many more months to get pregnant.

For #2, we were both ready at 9 months, but I chickened out for another couple of months before starting to try.

DH had severe baby fever. Not that I wasn't looking forward to TTC but he had baby fever so bad that he wanted to start before the wedding and was talking about it during the honeymoon.

i think my husband would have been happy to TTC earlier, but he always deferred to me and waited until i was ready. when we did start TTC, i was the one who researched/knew about charting and the best time to get pregnant.

We talked about it before getting married. I wanted to wait a year or so, he wanted to start NTNP right away.

I gave in, partly because I didn't want to go get and pay for a BC prescription. Lazy!

Me, by far, if I left it up to DH we wouldn't even consider TTC for another 5 years. He wants kids, but he is not fond of babies haha and can't understand my baby fever.

Hubby was ready for a baby years and years ago, but we both realized timing wasn't right due to the newly acquired shop and wedding obligations for friends. Once the timing was right, we were both on board.

Me. We kind of agreed on a timeline when we got married (start trying about 2 years after the wedding) but I got antsy about a little over a year after. He wasn't ready until we got to 2 years, but I'd been charting and stuff ahead of that so I was ready to GO when we pulled the goalie. He thought it would be super easy and quick, I was nervous it would take a really long time. We were lucky and it was pretty quick. After we didn't get a BFP on the very first month, he got a lot more into it.
