I just found out that daycare "allows" their teachers to babysit on the side. This is huge! DD2 is 7 months and has only gone to sleep at night for me and put down for naps via her daycare teacher. This gives me hope that DH & I can have a date "night" at some point!
If you were to use a daycare teacher as a babysitter to put your toddler and baby to bed. Would you choose the toddler's teacher or the baby's teacher? DD1 is almost 3 and is going through a "stranger danger" phase so I'm a little apprehensive about using someone that isn't *her* teacher. Although on daycare days she goes with DH to drop off baby sister and her teacher brings DD1 on her break to visit DD2. So she is familiar with DD2's teachers.
The case for using DD2's teacher is obviously because there is a better chance she can put her down at night!
Who would you use? Also, how much would you pay? She would be responsible for putting both girls down and potentially feed (prepared) dinner to DD1.
