I feel you! And their little toe nails? So tiny but you have to trim them because they are razor sharp.

Sometimes I swear they grow longer when I clip them. It's frustrating cause my little one scratches at herself all the time. I clip her nails 2-3 times a week.

@NaturallyCathy: I can hardly EVER get the toenails! She curles them under like she's trying to hide them!
@Smurfette: Seriously! I think we clip every other day. I wonder if it slows down the older they get?

@shopaholic: I hope so!! She is fighting it now

@Smurfette: poor thing! Where did she scratch herself? I had DD in mittens for the longest. The worst was when she got herself in the eye. She cried red tears. It was awful. The good thing is that babies heal pretty quickly and they don't scar.

@Smurfette: Once they start using their hands, they should dull a bit. The reason ours aren't as sharp is because we use our hands for things like typing, and other things.

@NaturallyCathy: right under her eye. Poor thing
@MaisyMay: I hope! She is always eating her hands so I am afraid she is going to scratch the inside of her mouth.

Someone gave me a tip to bite their nails off. Sounds crazy but it's way easier that using the clippers - less chance of cutting/hurting them!

I use the Piyo Piyo scissors. SO much easier and you can't hurt them!

Oh man, I seriously do LO's every day! I used to file them but now that her nails are strong I clip them. I just keep them with our nursing stuff and I do them while she's eating.

OMG - I know. And I'm so bad at clipping them. The other day I clipped his skin and DS was wailing and it bled for what seemed like forever.
