I hope we can find sitters because I really want to attend our company holiday parties this year! DH's will be at a coworker's house (maybe we can bring LO) and my company party is a dinner boat cruise!

We might go to DH's holiday party but I'm not sure when it is. My company's holiday party is in January so I'm not sure. Depends on when the twins decide to make their appearance.

Nope. I'm due Nov 25th so we definitely won't be going to my company's. My husband works for a small company and they never invite spouses to the holiday party (I secretly think its because the boss doesn't get along with his own wife). I will probably request that my hubs skip his party this year since I'll be home with a very new baby.

We have to go to DH's company party, and I'm totally dreading it. They always have it at this place that has awful food, and then everyone gets drunk and starts kissing each other. It is soooooooooooo awkward; we usually make up an excuse and book it out of there right after dinner.

My work does a casual lunch for employees only. DH's work does a nice dinner but not till January. He makes me go to that.

We'll go to DH's in December, they always throw a good party and have great food! I usually need to have a few drinks because I'm the WORST at small talk....but we're TTC so hoping that won't be an option for me this year!

Yes mine! It's at this really fancy place downtown, with hotel accommodations! I think there might be free booze! Lol

If our work hosts one, then yes, even if I'm already out on maternity leave I'll probably drop by for the party. They are notorious about having it during the day (insert eyeroll!) and at work instead of out somewhere.

My DH's company has a 'family' party in the afternoon, then a grown up party on the same day, in the evening (December 15th). My parents are going to drive up that weekend and babysit Sawyer for us. It will be his first time being babysat (he will be 7 1/2 months old by then, I am such a chicken!)

My husband's company throws big elaborate holiday parties every year. Like black tie and everything. So we might go to that.

DH's company's holiday party is NO significant others! And this is one of the largest law firms in Chicago, yeesh!
When I used to work for Hyatt, we had awesome holiday parties with SO.MUCH.FOOD... miss that!
As a small biz owner, I'm going to throw a brunch at my home for my team of 4 girls and their significant others. I did that last year and it was awesome! I also took all of them out to a fancy dinner last night (sans SOs) to celebrate the end of our wedding season!

Not sure what DH's company party is bc this is his first yr with the company.

My company doesn't do one. DH's has one and we are going to go. Pretty fancy. Not looking forward to buying a nice maternity dress that I will probably wear once.

DH and I work for the same company and our two offices get together for Christmas every year. I was just on the phone with my boss today asking about the party date bc DH wans't sure of the day. I'm pretty sure all the Mat leave mama's are going to be there too (there are 3 of us)

We have an awesome black tie party with open bar.
Last year I got an iPad as a door prize, my coworker got a 52 inch tv.
I would love to go but it's 4 days before my due date. You have to RSVP in advance and if you are a no show, the cost of your meal is deducted frm your check.

Nope! Will be on maternity leave from my job, and DHs company party is during the work day for employees only (not family).

We don't have any "fun" parties, usually just a luncheon that is during work. I wish we had the type that you see on tv and with an open bar!
