My plan was to enroll a son or daughter in the same activities. My husband and I are both very into athletics so we thought we'd enroll our children in sports and possibly martial arts. We've also thought about music lessons. If they developed any other interests, then we'd go from there but we don't want to make any specific activity become a "girl's" thing or a "boy's" thing.

Yes, we plan on putting LO in gymnastics, dance, t-ball, and swim!
Edit: Obviously not at the same time, we do plan on doign gymnastics when she's 2. We were going to start at 18 months but I don't think she's ready yet, even though she would probably enjoy it.

We only have a daughter now, but I think we'd just start them out in the same types of activities and then move on based on their individual interests. I wouldn't force any activity they weren't in to.

I'll be enrolling them in what their interests are, not according to gender stereotypes. So if my son wants to do ballet and my daughter would rather play hockey, that's what they'll be in.

We'll let them choose what they 're interested in. They 're twins though so I want to avoid making them do all the same activities together! Instead we want them to have their own interests, whatever they might be.

Right now she is just doing swim and gymnastics which we would do with a son as well. Pretty soon she wants to start ballet which I doubt we would do with a son unless he had interest. She doesn't have a lot of interest in sports (tball or soccer) but we will probably try to get her involved by kindergarten so she learns some coordination.

I have two DDs, but if had a boy I'd try to get everyone into the same activities to maximize hand-me-downs! Not really, as I'm sure each kid would have their own interests and talents, and DH and I'd do our best to accommodate them all.

I didn't play sports but I've been told dance class is great for athletes - it improves coordination, balance, flexibility, etc.

My DD is obsessed with dancing and she loves yoga. Daycare always tell me what a great time she has with yoga so I think for her ballet is a given. She has already done some swimming, would love her to do more, and soccer would be great too.

We only have a girl but both kids will be expected to do one physical activity & one creative/intellectual (though not at the same time necessarily). That will depend on their interests. If we had a little boy that would like dance class, we would do that!

I am a sucker for a littler toddler in a leotard. So hopefully Zuzu will want to do ballet, cheer and gymnastics. I am not a tomboy at all so I will not push her to do soccer and that kind of stuff. DH is a tomboy so he will make all our boys do baseball and football and such.
