Last year, I didn't.
But this year, I think I will.

Black Friday is my due date! I will probably do some damage online if I haven't gone into labor yet and need something to occupy my time

Yes!! DH is going out and buying a blu-ray player and a new GPS. I'm going out shopping with my mom, just to blow money

I prefer online shopping that weekend (Black Friday and Cyber Monday). Usually I'm able to find some good deals, and I don't have to worry about fighting the crowds.

I've never set foot in a store on Black Friday. We're usually down at DH's aunt's cabin on the Chesapeake Bay, or monument/museum hopping in DC. I do online shop during that weekend, though.
Funny related story, though. Last Thanksgiving I was having a major sinus fit...sneezing non-stop, for hours (the first of several fits I had during pregnancy--even though I didn't know I was pregnant yet!) I finally asked DH's aunt if she had any sinus stuff--if not I was just going to take a Tylenol PM and go to bed. DH and FIL volunteered to run out and get me some Alka Seltzer.
You know how the department stores are opening earlier and earlier for Black Friday? The Walmart in the town nearest the cabin opened at 10pm, which was right about the time they left. FIL thought the best idea would be to run into Walmart to get it. He thought it wouldn't be crowded because it was 10pm. At Walmart. Opening for Black Friday. DH was like "um, hell no!" and they went and got a few small travel packs from 7/11.
DH told me the Walmart parking lot was completely full, with spillover onto the street....silly FIL.

I usually go for specific items with lists (yep, I"m one of those). This year I am hoping to have my Christmas shopping done before then, but if I don't and see actual deals I might hit a store or two.

No, I hate shopping in general, so add in that everyone else shopping and I become a very unhappy, irritated, rude person. LOL

I used to always go shopping with my mom super early on black friday (door busters) but last year I had a bar code scanner app, and everything I scanned at Best Buy was cheaper on Amazon! It made me feel like I'd wasted my time. So I won't be shopping this black friday.

I think I might try to find some baby bargains on Black Friday! I usually stay in and avoid the insanity, so there would have to be some really good deals to motivate me.

Yeah. We'll be in Vegas so with nothing else to from midnight till dinner (I don't watch FB or gamble much, and can't go dancing), I'm sure my sis and I will be hitting up the outlets and shops!

I'm in Canada and mooch off the event on cyber Monday, as many of the Canadian stores have been starting to do Black Friday/Cyber Monday too. (Just not as big or probably as good of deals)

Nope, I used to go but now we leave Fri morning to drive down to see DH's family for the rest of the weekend. And I can't ever catch up on sleep.
All the ladies in my family go. We would start at midnight and do the non-door busters at Walmart, go to Hobby Lobby, grab a snack at IHOP, then be first in line at Walmart/Target, wherever we needed to go. Then after we finished shopping, ended with breakfast at Chick-fil-a. They all said that it wasn't nearly as much fun last year with everything opening so early. Mom said she was home by 6. I think some aren't even going this year, said that it is just too crazy now.

Yes, but we don't wait in the crazy long lines any more. We go in the crazy hours, but we wait in the car till there's no line then go in. There's nothing we absolutely need that requires us to wait in the freezing cold for hours on end the night before. We used to when we were younger though, but that's when stores opened at 6am, not midnight!!

I've stayed away from the stores the past few years. The deals never seem to be as good as I can get online and it's too much of a headache.

I'm not sure yet! i am debating about going with my mom for baby stuff but I hate lines and crowds

Probably not. The only way I will go is if I find a good deal for something on my Christmas shopping list.

I usually always do but this year we have NO MONEY. like at all. idk how we'll even afford Christmas so unless there are some amazing awesome deals I most likely won't.
