If we have a third, I'll be at least 35.

Nope. If we have another biological child it will be in the next 3 years so the oldest I would be is 32.
I applaud anyone willing to be prego after 35. But not for me

If we have a third, yes. We are trying for #2 right now and I will be 33 this year.
cantaloupe / 6630 posts
Yes. I'm 35 now and my youngest is just seven months old. Pregnancy is horrendous for me, regardless of age, so I don't feel too old in that respect. For our own child spacing and wanting to get back into the workforce, we would like it to happen sooner rather than later though.

Yes if we have a 3rd. Unlikely we will wait another 3 years for #2 but anything is possible.
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
Maybe but hopefully not? I'm 33 and thinking I'm done with bio kids after this baby. But never say never. If we have another bio kid, I'll definitely be over 35.

Probably--we haven't started yet and I'll be 32 this year We want at least 2 so I'm sure I'll be older than 35 for #2!

Yup! We are about to head into an FET and I'll be 38 in a month. DD was born just after I turned 35.

Yeah I'm 35 now. Just got pregnant again, hopefully this is it!

Pregnant and over 35 now As long as all goes well, we're done after this.
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
No, I don't think so. If I did that my oldest would already be 12. I would hate that age gap.

LO2 was a surprise pregnancy when I was 35. If she hadn't come along when she did, we probably would have waited a few more years; so I would have been 37 or 38.

I'm pregnant with #2 right now and I'm 35. I think we'll be done after 2 kids.

LO will be 17 months when I turn 35. If we decide to try for another, I can't imagine it would be before then.

I was done at 30! But I absolutely would have had no qualms doing it later if things had worked out that way. When I had my second, and the nurse asked me how old I was, she told me I was the youngest mom she'd worked with all week, by a decade. I think it's WAY more common to TTC after 35 now especially in bigger cities (I gave birth in Seattle), and I'm definitely on the younger side among my college friends-- most don't have 1 baby yet, at over 30.

If we have a third, yes, most likely. We're thinking 3 year gap between 1 and 2, but will not wait that long I don't think if we have a 3rd so that I'll be 35 or 36. 37 is kind of my mental cut-off. But who knows what the future will actually bring!
pomegranate / 3314 posts
Possibly? I want a third and I turn 35 in June, so very likely. I'm really not too worried about it, but it's very common to have children at 35+ in my area.
pomegranate / 3192 posts
I'm not quite sure, I'm 32 now and although we might be done, I hope we TTC in the next 2-2.5 years...
I think having a baby around 35 is SO common now. At the hospital I work at, "advanced medical age" isn't even until 40 and even then nobody really bats an eye.
nectarine / 2641 posts
Probably not. I'm 30 now and have two--our youngest is 8 months. I can't imagine wanting more than a 4 year age gap--and that's only if I can convince DH to have a 3rd. Our "deal" is that no permanent measures will take place before LO2 is 5 years old, so we'll probably make the decision to be done (regardless of whether or not there's a #3) by the time I'm 35.
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
Nope (at least I hope not) because I'm 26 and we want one more in the next couple of years.
pomegranate / 3658 posts
I *think* I want to start TTC for #2 when I turn 34, so if things go well I'll be done before I'm 35, but who knows.
honeydew / 7463 posts
Yeah. I'll be 35 this year and I won't be doing another transfer until after my birthday. But any retrievals will be before my birthday (probably).
nectarine / 2465 posts
I don't think so, I mean you never know what the future will bring, but my limit is 34/35.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
Possibly......? I'm 31 turning 32 this year, and if all goes well have #2 while I'm 32. I guess I can squeeze out a 3rd if I really want before 35, if all goes well, and if we want a 3rd?
