Yup. Stock market closes at noon so we do too! Going out to Chuy's for lunch with a bunch of work friends then home to get some stuff done around the house before I pick up LO from school.

Not Month end and quarter close. The rest of the building will all be gone by 230 except for finance and accounting. I am missing R's day care parade and class party. I am so bummed. Esp. cause we are new and I would really like to meet the other parents. At least DH is home and off today and can go.

Yep - I am not sure when, though. We usually get an official release for 2 or 3, but my boss said we can go whenever we are done for the day.

I am going to spend my afternoon grocery shopping and prepping food for our weekend away.

I heard a rumor (from our admin, though, so probably true!) that we're getting out at 3. I had to leave at 3 anyway for a ped appt for LO, so it doesn't make much of a difference. Ooooo, except that maybe I don't have to use sick time to leave early! Hmm.

I would really like to, but my boss is a workaholic so I doubt he'll let anyone go early
