DH and I will only be married for 3 years this Oct, but I'm already thinking about having a vow renewal. I'm thinking way ahead - for our 10 year anniversary. In Kauai since I've always wanted to go 
I'm only halfway serious about it, but just for fun, where would you go? Will it be a small gathering, or will you go all out? How about your dress?

I don't know if I'd call it a vow renewal, but I do plan on having a huge party at 30 years! We'll probably reread our personal vows again then.

I can't get an old printer or was it a Kodak commercial out of my head. It's the one with parents popping in a DVD of a their son getting hitched in Hawaii, right on the beach. I want that

No vow renewal for us. But since it's just for fun..... I'd probably just want to do something small where we got married.
My inlaws just did a renewal with just us kids and grandkids there at the park.

Our 10th wedding anniversary will be the year my parents will celebrate their 45th anniversary (this will be in 6.5 years from now) and we've already decided that we'll be taking a huge family trip to Hawaii. DH and I are hoping to invite a few friends along so that we can do a vow renewal.

DH and I actually had a very intimate wedding, but would love to have a giant party to celebrate our partnership with our extended families, sometime in the next 10-20 years.
We do plan on reading our vows to one another on every anniversary, but we're corny like that.

We went to Vegas and had a small party in our town, so we plan on doing a big anniversary party at some point, maybe 25th? We plan on going to Europe for our 5th, maybe we'll go back for our 25th and renew them in a castle somewhere!

We married in Vegas with 42 guests so I'd love to have a party at 10 years with all our friends and family (and kids!). I love that our wedding and dinner was very minimal and 'us' but I sometime miss that we had no first dance or speeches ect.

We've recently talked about a vow renewal, especially since our wedding was not at all want we wanted! We were set on eloping at the beach and ended up with something very different, so we'd love to do a vow renewal with just the two of us somewhere like Big Sur!

We had a big wedding (which I LOVED) but if we were to do a vow renewal I would want something small and intimate, maybe just me and DH.

I would like to have a vow renewal at 10 years. Maybe something on the beach with a nice flowing dress? Or maybe in a church like our wedding? so much time to think about it

If we had a full on vow renewal with exchange of new vows I would have it the place we both fell in love and ended up not having our wedding. We would write our own vows. The party would be black tie lawn games mash up.

We talk about doing a vow renewal at 5 and/or 10 years because we had such a blast at our wedding. We'd probably throw a party again, but invite fewer people this time. DH would automatically say he wants it to be in Hawaii, but we'll see.

We plan to do a 5 year anniversary party. No real vow renewal but maybe just a moment to say we still love each other and always will. I think it's important to keep making that extra effort and this is one way we plan to keep reminding ourselves that this is it and that's enough (:

@SugarplumsMom: Ohhh! I want to do one when we have $$. I would have it with just us and our kid(s?) and we'd all dress up and go out for something fancy to eat after. I would definitely get a new dress.
I Hawaii and we are planning to move back in maybe 5 years.
